Bradfield College’s Ist XI pitch (Pit) offers a beautiful and tranquil setting for high quality cricket. The pitch is tended with great care by our experienced grounds staff and is warmly praised by visiting County and International sides. We have been proud to host a number of high-profile matches over recent years, including an England/Australia test match for visually impaired players.

 

The recently refurbished pavilion also provides a well-equipped facility for both players and spectators.

 

In addition to Pit, we can offer two further pitches of a good standard, plus nets for training. Prices (09/10) for pitch hire and catering are:

 

Cricket (April – August only)

   Pit (Sat/Sun) £440 +VAT (£506)

   Pit (weekday) £300 +VAT (£345)

   Rectory or Hill 2 (Sat/Sun) £150 +VAT (£172.50)

   Rectory or Hill 2 (weekday) £110 +VAT (£126.50)

   Cricket Nets (Outdoor) £15.30 +VAT (£17.60) per hour

 

Sports Catering

   Tea, coffee, Water & Orange Squash: £1.50 +VAT (£1.72) per person

   Cricket Teas (Tea, Coffee, Sandwiches & Cake) £5.00 +VAT (£5.75) per person

   Hot Lunch (Dining Hall) £5.00 +VAT (£5.75) per person

   Hot Lunch (Pit Pavilion –Pit hire only) £7.00 +VAT (£8.05) per person

   Sandwiches (provided at pitch / pavilion) £4.00 +VAT (£4.60) per person
