Football

Bradfield College has an enviable reputation for the excellence of its many football pitches and other sporting facilities. This reputation has drawn teams from around the world for matches and training, with many of them returning each season. We are particularly proud of our long association with Reading Football Club and have been glad to host all aspects of the club from the first team to the academy, plus other visiting league clubs for training prior to their matches at the Madejski Stadium.

 

We are a popular venue for residential training camps during the Easter and summer holidays, with guests in recent years including the England, Ireland, Norway and Wales Women’s U15 – U19 squads, Norwegian Premiership academies such as IK Start and FK Brann, the national U20 squad and the Bundesliga FC Mainz 05 academy from Germany, plus the South Jersey Barons from America.

 

In addition to professional teams and academies, Bradfield College is pleased to offer facilities to local amateur sides during College holidays. Individual pitches can be hired at the following 09/10 rates:

    Football Pitch per hour (min 2 hours) July – December £34+VAT (£39.10)

    Football Pitch per day July – December £155+VAT (£178.25)

    Football Pitch per day January – June £310+VAT (£356.50)
